Finecast Foundry Ltd are a specialist manufacturer of complex geometric castings for globally recognised automotive, motorsport and defence manufacturers.

Following significant expansion of our business and major investment we are looking to recruit Production Operatives, to join our team. For younger operatives from ages 16-25 we encourage candidates to gain level 3 training qualifications. See our apprenticeships for more details.

What does the job involve?

This is a varied job role in which you will perform many creative tasks in the production of cast metal products. You will be given the opportunity to be trained in a wide variety of skills within our production environment. With no two days the same here, you will have the chance to work on some impressive projects from automotive, motorsport and defence.

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a manual production environment
• A creative, practical mindset
• Physically fit, reliable, and conscientious
• Strong dexterity and excellent attention to detail

What do we offer?

For the right candidate, following training and dependant on experience we pay a competitive wage of £13.25 per hour, that’s £27,550 per year minimum without overtime based at 1.5 times hourly rate.

Regular overtime is always generally available and is paid at 1.5 times the hourly rate.
