We employ a diverse mix of almost 100 people, many of which live within 30 minutes of the foundry in Littlehampton, West Sussex. Staff come from Brighton and Hove, Worthing, Shoreham, Lancing, Chichester, Bognor Regis, Horsham, and some even further. We offer three kinds of Advanced Apprenticeships for you to choose from:
- NVQ & Diploma in Engineering Woodworking, Pattern & Model Making
- NVQ & Diploma Foundry Casting Apprenticeship
- NVQ & Diploma in Machining
Apart from studying towards a recognised qualification, you work alongside other apprentices, qualified engineers and managers rotating across each manufacturing discipline to receive a solid understanding of each department supervised by our training provider. You will also receive additional in house and external training to assist your development. The apprenticeship takes 3 years to complete.
What you will need: You will hold or are predicted to achieve, GCSEs at grades A* to C, in English, Mathematics, Sciences, have good communication skills and competent using Microsoft Office. You will already able demonstrate an interest and passion for engineering and manufacture.
As part expansions and future strategy, we are looking to develop committed individuals from our graduate development scheme into technical and commercial positions. If you are a university graduate holding a mechanical engineer BEng/MEng degree and looking for a long-term career in an environment that challenges your knowledge whilst equipping you with practicable manufacturing skills, we offer graduate development positions.
This program involves rotating around manufacturing areas to give you a solid understand our business and product before specialising in one area. You will work directly with our Directors and assigned training provider to develop your foundry career.
What you will need: You will hold or are predicted to achieve, 2.1 and above in BEng/MEng degree. Ideally you will have undertaken a placement in industry. You will have excellent written and verbal presentation commination skills along with competent Microsoft Office. Most importantly, you will have a dedication and passion to peruse and long term career within the foundry industry and be eligible to work within the United Kingdom
