Finecast develops, engineers, and manufactures high-integrity, complex cast, machined-from-solid, and composite components for a range of industries. We offer a fully integrated service, including design and engineering, virtual casting simulation, pattern tooling, tool-less 3D sand printing, prototype and production casting, metallurgical testing, non-destructive testing, CNC machining, metrological validation, and assembly and fitting.

Design and Engineering

Design For Manufacture is our foundation to successful manufacture of prototype components engineered to replicate future series production cast geometry, material and mechanical requirements.

Sand Casting

Semi-automated prototype and volume series foundry enables the manufacture of geometrically complex sand castings in aluminium alloys and specialist iron and steel grades.

Metallurgical Testing

Material control is monitored by continual metallurgical analysis in our in-house metallurgy laboratory, equipped with non-ferrous and ferrous spectrometers, microscopes for examination of microstructures and tensile testing machines.

Non Destructive Testing

Extensive in-house advanced non-destructive testing facilities including CT scanning, digital radiograph, ultrasonic, magnetic particle, dye penetrant, and pressure testing

CNC Machining

Our state-of-the-art, aerospace-certified machining facility provides industry-leading CAD/CAM up-front engineering, 5-axis CNC machining and cmm validation.

Metrological Testing

Extensive in-house advanced metrology laboratory, including programmable CMMs, 3D optical scanning, CT and radiographic imaging, and digital metrology solutions, we validate both internal and external geometries to ensure consistency, repeatability, and reliability.

Assembly & Fitting

Reliable and repeatable precision assembly is achieved through meticulous process control and investment in advanced pneumatic assembly cells, bespoke tooling, and precision fixturing. Our expertise in mechanical, electrical, and fluid system integration ensures fully assembled, installation-ready components that meet the highest quality and performance standards.
