It was an absolute pleasure for Finecast to attend The Angmering School Careers Fair, a fantastic event for students to get an insight and discuss career opportunities with a wide range of companies and sectors.
We were proud to share with the younger generation why a career in the casting manufacturing industry is so exciting and rewarding. It also gave us the chance to talk with the students and parents about our taster days on-site and apprenticeship opportunities here at Finecast.
Our apprentices George and Adam were on hand, talking with students and parents about their current roles at Finecast and their journey from school to employment.
We showcased a range of our latest casting projects and provided an insight into our manufacturing processes and the emerging technologies within the casting industry, including computer-aided design, virtual casting simulation, 3D sand printing, sand casting, non-destructive testing, CNC machining, metallurgy and metrology.
The event was a great success for all involved and we received a lot of interest from the students and parents.
