The Finecast team (AKA the Finecast Rumblers!) are super excited to announce that they are taking part in the South Coast Ultra Challenge! A 100 km walk from Eastbourne to Arundel over the course of two days, to raise money for an amazing charity close to our all our hearts, The British Heart Foundation.
Our Target

The Route
We’re getting ready for an epic adventure! Let’s checkout the route we are going to take!
Day 1 – Distance 55km / Climb 1310m
The journey will begin in the coastal town of Eastbourne, making our way up to the breathtaking Beachy Head, Cuckmere Haven and the magnificent Seven Sisters, we’ll then make our way along the South Downs Way to the halfway point at Hove Park, where we will camp for the night!
Day 2 – Distance 45km / Climb 860m
We’ll continue our walk from Hove Park up to Devil’s Dyke and across the South Downs Way, past Chanctonbury Ring to Amberley, then down to the finish line at historical town of Arundel.
Let’s tackle this epic challenge together and raise some serious money for the British Heart Foundation!

I have spent the past 4 years with acute Bradycardia, it’s affected my everyday life, the way I think, the way I move, my mental perception and physical agility to the point where my whole life was going into reverse, it’s been a very difficult 4 years.
I had magnificent cardio care and support from consultants, Dr Dhamrait, Dr McReady and Dr Paisey and staff at University Hospitals Sussex Foundation Trust and Southampton hospital, who literally rejuvenated me, they fitted a pacemaker, wired me up and got me moving again, I’m living a new life. Not quite as good as it was but by far a big improvement on the life that I had.
What I’d like to see is, to see these superb cardiologists, highly trained, caring people, backed up by wonderful science, if you can put the two together through The British Heart Foundation magic can happen and millions of people, yourself, your family and friends can all be helped tremendously, because without a heart we have nothing.

Super excited for the South Coast Ultra Challenge 100km!
The British Heart Foundation is a charity very close to my heart. During 2010, my dad at the age of 62 had a heart attack, he was diagnosed with heart disease and needed a double heart bypass.
Since then, my dad’s recovery has been truly remarkable. He managed to get back to full health and is doing great! he’s fitter than ever and it’s all thanks to our wonderful NHS and this amazing life changing charity.
